What Is Retailing?

Retail business is a business that delivers goods or services to end users. From the above definition it can be seen that the retail business grew from small-scale retail businesses such as roadside stalls cigarettes, peddlers, and vegetable seller using wheelbarrow.

Medium scales of retailers are in the form of mini markets, convenience stores, and supermarkets.
And large scale: supermarket chains, department stores to hypermarkets and superstores scale.
If a seller provides a cheaper price because buying many, so it is not running a retail business but wholesale business (wholesaler).

Considerations before Entering Retail Business
Candidates should have a Passion (a deep desire) on this kind of business, not only went along because seeing other people succeeds. Choose the product that you like that will be the merchandise for your retail business.

Limitations of Capital
If capital is limited so we start from a small business first.
Capital for such merchandise, in fact if the business has started to grow and gain the trust of suppliers so we do not need their own capital to meet the contents of the store. The weakness of the Franchise:
